These terms cover your use of abqfuneralhomes.com ("ABQ Funeral Homes", "we"), run by Josh Eldred in Albuquerque, New Mexico. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
What this site is, and isn't
ABQ Funeral Homes is an independent directory of New Mexico funeral homes, cremation providers and cemeteries, and the prices they publish. We are not a funeral home. We don't arrange funerals, sell funeral goods or services, or act as anyone's agent. Every arrangement is between you and the provider you choose.
The site is free for families.
Prices and listing information
Prices on this site come from providers' own published price lists and websites, shown with the date we checked them. Providers can change their prices at any time, and a listing can be out of date or wrong. Confirm prices and details with the provider before you decide. Under the FTC Funeral Rule, every funeral home must give you its itemized General Price List when you ask.
Star ratings and review counts come from providers' public Google listings. We don't recommend or endorse any provider, and we aren't responsible for the services any provider delivers.
New Mexico funeral homes are licensed by the Board of Funeral Services at the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department (rld.nm.gov), where you can check a license or file a complaint.
Our guides are general information
Pages about New Mexico rules and benefits (death certificates, the Office of the Medical Investigator, cremation permits, veterans benefits and similar topics) are general information, not legal, medical or financial advice. Rules and amounts change, so check with the agency named on the page before relying on them.
Featured placement
Funeral homes can pay for a featured spot. Featured providers are labeled "Featured · Sponsored". Paying never changes a provider's prices, its place in our price rankings or what we say about it, and a featured spot isn't a recommendation. Details are on our page for funeral homes.
What you send us
Please send only information that is accurate and that you have the right to share. If you send us a funeral home's price list, you confirm it's a document you received and may share; we may publish its prices and the date it took effect, but never your name. Funeral homes that send corrections or price lists confirm they're accurate and that they're authorized to send them.
Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to what you send. In short: we use it only to reply to you, and we never share it with funeral homes or sell it.
Using our content
You're welcome to read, share and link to our pages. Our open dataset, on the Data page, is published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license, so you may reuse it as long as you credit ABQ Funeral Homes. Please don't copy the rest of the site wholesale or present it as your own. Search engines and other crawlers are welcome as far as our robots.txt allows. Funeral home names and logos belong to their owners.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the site;
- send spam, fake inquiries or harmful code through our forms;
- use the site to harass anyone, including funeral home staff; or
- use the site for anything illegal.
We may block access for anyone who does.
Disclaimers and limits
The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including any warranty that its information is complete, current or error-free. To the fullest extent the law allows, ABQ Funeral Homes is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the prices, services or conduct of any provider listed on the site. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim; families pay nothing to use the site.
Links to other websites, including providers' own sites, are for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. New Mexico law governs these terms, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts for Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
