We list 72 New Mexico providers in 22 cities and show the published prices of the 42 that publish them; 28 include a direct cremation price. It's free for families.

I run this site myself from Albuquerque. I read providers' price lists and websites and put what they publish in one place, so families don't have to make a dozen calls during the worst week of their lives. I'm not a funeral director, and I don't own any part of a funeral home.
Why This Site Exists
Many funeral homes don't post their prices online, and prices vary widely: in Albuquerque, direct cremation runs from $895 to $3,604 depending on the provider, each figure from the provider's own price list. A grieving family rarely feels able to "shop around" hour by hour while planning a goodbye.
This site puts the published prices in one place and ranks them, cheapest first, so any family can compare them in minutes, for free. No appointment, no sales pitch, no pressure.

We are independent
ABQ Funeral Homes is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any funeral home, cemetery, or national funeral chain. That independence is what lets us rank providers by their real published prices — cheapest first — without anyone leaning on us. A provider can never pay to change its listed price or move up our price tables.
How we stay free for families
We will never charge a grieving family. The site's one source of income is featured placement: a funeral home can pay for a featured spot, which is labeled “Featured · Sponsored” and never changes a price, a ranking or what we say about the provider. We don't sell or share families' information, and we don't take referral fees. We would rather tell you this plainly than hide it.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Every price on this site comes from the provider itself: its General Price List, which the FTC Funeral Rule requires every funeral home to provide, or its own website. We don't use third-party estimates. Each listing shows where its prices came from and the date we checked them.
Prices change, so we ask families to always request a provider's current price list before deciding. If you ever spot something out of date or wrong, please tell us — we want to fix it. Read the full process on our methodology page.
